Few cute pictures....

Nick and I were laying on the couch reading and listening to music one night. Hunter brought in the little dvd player and wanted to watch Cars (he LOVES this movie! Reag watched it constantly for almost 3 years, seriously!! Hunter is following the same path so far! CANNOT wait to take them to Cars 2. They will LOVE it!) so this is where he decided to sit. WHY?? He would even put his hands over his ears. Hello, move!! It was too funny!

So this just happened this morning while I was getting dressed. They both think they are soooo cool!

Surprisingly, he actually does alright driving. He just never gets the chance!

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter break. Reag and I had Friday and Monday off too, so it was a perfect amount of time to chill and still have fun. We went to THREE fun festivals and seriously I have NO IDEA how I didn't take a picture at any of them. Seriously, so sad! Friday after Nick got home we went to an Art Festival. The kids got to do crafts, we ate yummy food, looked at fun things, then the kids played in the water. Good times! Saturday, we decided to go to Zion. On the way there, we passed an Earth Day Festival. So we decided to stop and check it out. It was way fun too. Lots of things for the kids to do. Then we went to Zion (which happened to be free that week. we had no idea--bonus!!). Nick and I LOVE to explore and see things and just drive and find new stuff or look at houses, people, etc. So the whole day was great! After Zion, we went to the Car Festival and again ate yummy things, kids did bounce houses and we saw REALLY cool cars. The weather was perfect! The Easter Bunny came Sunday and left us surprises in our baskets. I had to teach so I didn't really get to enjoy Easter morning like I would have liked to! We also had to be to church early for a meeting. And we said the prayers in Sacrament so needless to say, it was a packed morning! After church we made a yummy dinner, some family came over, we dyed eggs and played. Fabulous day! I am so thankful for weekends like this that remind me of why I am really here and what's really important. I love my family and my Savior and I am so thankful for the Atonement and for what Christ did for me.

Reagan definately wears the pants in this relationship. He is so content to sit in the back and let her drive. Most of the time he only gets booted to the back when there are 3. I think he chose this time to be back there so his basket would fit. He didn't let it out of his site for days!!! He wanted "na-nee" 24/7!!!! I finally had to put them away it was getting so bad!

Hunter's FIRST haircut!! He has needed one for sooo long; he was rockin' a fro! I was scared though that if I cut it, maybe all his curls would go away. NOPE! Still curly and super cute!

The fam on our way to an egg hunt. I was REALLY worried that Hunter wouldn't know what to do. So Nick did a mock egg hunt with them earlier in the day. So we get to the hunt and Hunter goes to the first egg, pops it open for the "na-nee" (candy) and wants Nick to open it! Nick had to bribe him to keep going. He ended up with only 3 because he just wanted to stop each time and see what was in the egg! He was as happy as can be though with his 3!

I had just started washing blankets so there was a huge pile in the laundry room. Next thing I know they are running and jumping and having a great time. I LOVE these times that they enjoy each other and are sweet. If only they happened longer......

Concert

Do you remember Terri Clark?? She was playing a small acoustic concert here in town so Nick and I decided to have a blast from the past and go. It was ALOT of fun! It was the first date night in a REALLY LONG time. So we really enjoyed ourselves and it was fun to sing along to oldies but goodies.

Biggest Loser Race 2011

My good friend Chrissy called me up and said we should do this 5k together. After much hesitation, a lot of laughing (at myself) and lots of "Holy, no ways!", I gave in and we did it. My sis signed up too and we had a great time! One of our AWESOME friends, Sarah, was on this season of the show so we wore pink for her. She's soooo cute!!! Thanks Chrissy for making running fun!!!

Desperate Times.....

Call for DESPERATE measures. My hair was way long and my A-Line essentially gone and basically just driving me nuts. So, what's a girl to do when her hair cutter is almost 2 hours away? Have her husband give her a trim of course!!!!! GASP!!! No lie, I really asked him for a trim and of course I'm totally butched, and after some exchanging of words (a little loud and harsh) and almost a few tears...he fixed it up and it has an A-line again and he actually did ok. Shorter then what I wanted, but okay nonetheless. I should have taken some side pics to show the diagonal, it's subtel, but I didn't dare let him do more. Now I just need to get rid of the roots!! :)

Spring Break 2011

Spring Break 2011 has been fabulous and is sadly winding down. Me and the kids have had 10 full days off and have enjoyed playing and being lazy too. Nick had to work so we didn't go anywhere, but we still had fun! The first weekend our friends visited us. Then Monday we had a fun day of shopping!! Tuesday and Wednesday my dad and brother came to visit. We did some exploring, we visited this fun game museum, I had to do the DMV :(, and we searched and eventually a bought a new toy hauler for my dad. We also ate LOTS of good food while they were here. My dad always spoils us!! Thursday was Nick's day off so we had a little date day. We did sealings at the temple, ate at Outback, got cupcakes and explored (one of our favorite things to do!). We tried to take the kids to a movie, but it was sold out so we went hiking instead. Oh well that we were in flip flops and a dress (Reag) and flats, it was fun nonetheless. It was right around sunset and BEAUTIFUL. Of course, I didn't have my camera. Tear!! There would have been some great pictures. Oh well! Friday was a chill day with kids playing in the kiddie pool in the backyard, saturday was chill too just doing chores getting ready for the week. Monday we all have off one last day before life starts again. We are planning some fun things, so more pics to come!! Holy this is the longest post of my life!!!!! :)

Family Friends Weekend

We had a fun, fabulous weekend with our family friends. We were so glad they came up to see us. We had a blast!!! Lots of yummy food and fun. It's so easy with them and our kids get along great!! Come back soon!!!!
