Hunter was so over life at this point.  After the sealing and pictures, everyone came back to our house for pizza and visiting.  There were about 40 people and lots of cousins to play with.  It took forever for Hunter to go down, then we had to wake him up to go to the reception that night.  Sometime around 8 he got his 2nd wind though and had fun with the kids.  We had a fun night visiting with everyone!

The Holt Family--all of us! This NEVER happens with some living further away or school schedules or missions, etc.

Grandma & Grandpa Holt (Mark's parents) They work in the temple.  Grandpa works as a sealer and Grandma with the brides.  He sealed Nick and I and A TON of the other cousins/siblings.  It's so neat and makes it so much more personable!!!!!!

Merry Christmas!! Part 2

After we opened presents the kids played and watched the Disney Parade.  We had a big, yummy, quick breakfast and then hurried and got ready for church.  I'm so glad we had the chance to feel the Spirit and have a reminder of why we celebrate Christmas, but holy cow it was a rush to get to church on time!!!

After church Hunter had a blast with his wagon.  Even taking it clear into the neighbor's yard!!

While I was cooking our big Christmas lunch/dinner, Nick was helping Reagan paint her nails with some new makeup/polish that she got.  What a GREAT dad!!!!

The next day, Nick's parents stopped by and brought some presents.  The kids had fun having another round of things to open.

All the girl grandkids got princess dress-up.  Hunter got a shield, helmet and cutter thing.  You know, like the soldier guys that ride horses old school.  I can't think of what they are called!!!! He had fun and even got Uncle Justin trapped in a corner!

Merry Christmas!! Part 1

Gifts from Santa! Hunter got up early and came in and got us, but we just kept snoozing-ish.  Then at 8, Reagan got up and was much louder so we figured we better not make them wait any longer! This is how it looked when we went to bed.  When we got up with the kids, the wagon was down by Hunter's room and he was playing and having a great time without us!!

This was the note Santa left us by his eaten cookies.  It said something like thanks for the cookies and reindeer food and he's proud of Reag and Hunter and to make sure to be kind and don't fight!!! :)

Christmas Eve

Reagan was playing around with one of Hunter's nerf darts and I joked that she looked like Rudolph when it was on her nose.  Next thing I know, she's made a red nose and reindeer ears and is singing Rudolph.  It was pretty cute!

We are making reindeer food.  Started out pretty clean-ish.

Ended up with sprinkles and oatmeal all over the table and on the floor.

The next morning...we knew the reindeer ate the food because they left us little "presents" on our driveway.

Opening one present on Christmas Eve



I may have broken Hunter's trying to get it out of the package (seriously, do enough people steal toys that they have to package it like Fort Knox?!), so he got to open a second present. 

We also made cookies for Santa and read fun Christmas stories and Luke too.

Visiting with Santa

Santa just happened to be at Disneyland while we were there.  He had a really cute little cabin and the reindeer were even outside waiting for him.  Hunter and Reag did great--not scared at all! Hunter told Santa a few times about the cars he wanted and even said it again as we were walking out the door.  It was pretty cute! Way fun!! I love that they were both good with it and excited.  I'll be sad when that goes away.

Live Natavity & Christmas Lights

We had so much fun at the Live Nativity, but holy cow it was SOOOO cold and windy!!! We went our friends, the Blasdells, this is Bailey.  So cute!

Hunter was not having Santa this time! This was the best one.

Afterwards, we drove around looking at lights.  We decided to stop by the house and grab some hot chocolate.  We all had the normal size jug on the left, Nick wanted lots and drank from the one on the right.  Let's just say, he didn't finish all of his and regretted taking it when he discovered it leaked all over his shirt! Good times! We found these two AWESOME houses that were total Griswold's! You tune your car radio to thier lights and they are coordinated.  SO SUPER COOL!!!!!!
