December Fun

Our December was pretty busy, like usual...but with one kink--I was put on bed rest the first week. I was 34 weeks pregnant and went in for my appointment.  At this point I've been on weekly appointments for awhile now so they can watch for Pre-Eclampsia.  I had this with Hunter, so I've been high-risk this pregnancy so they've been watching me and baby super close.  Well, Nick went to Caliente with the kids to hunt for a few days and I stayed to work.  Of course, as soon as he's getting there, I call with the news that they are doing a stress test on us and running extra labs and want me to chill and be done with work until delivery. Needless to say, that was bad timing!! :) I told him to stay there because we wouldn't know more until we got the labs back anyways.  My BP was high, there was protein in my urine and my swelling was SO bad...as it had been for months. However, labs were decent so yay, we didn't have to get the baby out like with Hunter.  But, bed rest it was so she could bake awhile longer. When you think of bed rest, it seems so much cooler than it actually is! If I had an assistant so it all wouldn't pile on to Nick, that would have been great! Oh and if it was only work and if it wasn't Christmas time!! So pretty much, I could do some things, but really did need to chill. Thankfully, my gifts were all bought!! We did manage to do a few fun things...as long as I could chill still.  And thank goodness for technology...I watched Reagan's basketball games and school play through Face Time.

Holy cow, we got about 8 inches of snow...which is a HUGE deal around here.  This was a week later when most was melted, but the kids still had a blast sledding.  Nick was good to take them.  There was a girl there that Reag knew, so she was loving it and Hunter was so good to trudge up the hill by himself with his sled! 

Reag's basketball team this year. She's done SO good and really loves it! 

Ok, no lie...I'm sitting at the computer one night and all the sudden I hear movement and water....I turn around and Hunter is standing in his room PEEING!!! He had to have been asleep because I don't say anything, just grab my phone of course, he pees, finishes and then goes right back to bed!!! I died!!!!!!
