Quick Vegas Trip

The following weekend after our whirlwind busy one, we ran down to Las Vegas.  My dad had his sibling party at our house, so we bailed! We got down there early Friday evening and had to leave early Sunday morning, so it was a fast one...fun, but fast. We stayed with the Phillip's family.  We always have a blast--eat too much of Loke's yummy food, game too late and laugh sooo hard!! We also managed to do some shopping, see Santa at Bass Pro and grab my favorite cheesecake! Thanks for always hosting us so well.  We always have a blast and appreciate all that you do!!!!

I asked Reag what she was going to ask Santa for and she said I don't know, I'll be happy with whatever he brings!! Be still my heart!!!! I told her it was sweet, but it was okay to mention a few things. She then asked for an Easy Bake Oven.  Hunter asked for Hot Wheels cars and an outside dump truck.  Thankfully, Santa came through on all accounts! :)

More Randoms

A few weekends ago we had a pretty crazy schedule. Friday right after school Reagan had basketball practice, then a primary activity right after.  The next morning we watched the Easton kids while their parents were at the temple.  We always love having friends over and it was fun to see these guys! The kids had a blast playing!!! After they left, we had some family stop in for a bit.  After that, we ran over to Reag's basketball game.  Then an hour or so after her game, we had the Cowdell family over for dinner and games.  Amanda and I have been besties since high school so it's always fun to get together with her and her cute family.  After they left, Nick and I watched the rodeo and wrapped till 2:30 that night!! The next day was church and baking all day.  It was actually a great weekend!!!

Hunter sleeps a lot in my bed.  I know it's so wrong and I was so much harder on Reag.  I would have NEVER let her do that almost every night...once in awhile, sure.  I've always been a sucker for him, but now he is definitely spoiled too like the youngest is.  I hope he isn't the youngest....but sadly, it's looking more and more like he might be.  I just want to enjoy every second of my kiddies, especially my baby....who's about to turn 4!!!!!! CRAZY!

Just so you know...I have the coolest, hottest husband in the whole world and my kids have the best most fun dad in the whole world!!!!!!!!!!!

Randoms

I love all the random pics I get.  I wish that I was fast enough to get more or that my camera was always handy.  It seems like there are so many things that I miss out on!! I always think I'll remember, but it's scary how fast it really is forgotten.  Sometimes it's gone before I even have the chance to tell Nick!!!! I swear if I don't write everything down....I'm in trouble! I few things lately that they've said.  Sadly, I can't remember many.  Usually I have an entire list written down, but it's been too crazy around here:

We were driving to Cedar and there were a ton of sheep off the freeway.  Reag looks over and says "Holy Sheep!".  Nick and I look at each other and just laugh!!! It sounded VERY close!

Hunter got a new Hot Wheels track with a loop and he says it's a track with a "hoopty hoop".

Basketball

Reag started basketball a few weeks ago.  It's been really fun to watch the little girls play.  There are 6 girls on her team and most haven't played before.  They are either in 2nd or 3rd grade and they all go to Reag's school.  She wasn't friends with any before, but had seen them at school. Reag's really timid and not super competitive.  It's been really hard for us! We've really tried to just focus on her learning and having fun so that she'll want to play again and learn more as she goes. They've had two games--1 win, 1 loss. During the first game, a girl on the other team kept doing cartwheels on the court....it was pretty funny! She's done good and we just hope she'll want to keep playing. 

Isn't this little girl sooo cute?! She's the little sister of one of Reag's teammates.  She and Hunter play the entire time at practice and games. Hunter knows how to pick 'em!

Cute Keely looking so old! They were in town so they got to come to Reag's first game.  Perfect, especially since Nick was out of town and had to miss it. :(
