The Best Grandpa Ever!

I just wanted to say how thankful I am for a great and loving dad. It's so nice that he is only 3 hours away. Thankfully, he is willing to come visit often. Reagan absolutely adores him and it's no wonder why. No one else exists when they are together. And I enjoy the break!! He is so great to run and chase her and push her a million times on her bike and play play-dough and paint and dress up dolls and just make her laugh like crazy. She loves him so much and I'm so thankful that she knows the man that I was blessed enough to have. We love you!!!!!

Fun day, Yummy Food

Saturday we woke up and the weather was nice/a little warm, so we decided to go for a 4-wheeler ride. It's great because we can go right from our house now that we've moved. It'll work for now. We had a fun ride. Even Gus loves to come, although she's fat and can't go too long and Nick's sweet enough to put her up with him so she doesn't have a heart attack!! Later that evening we went to a food and music festival. We went last year and it's always a fun time. Puddle of Mudd was there and Lifehouse and like 4 others. There's also about 50 food vendors. Everyone's friendly and it's a great family activity. Reagan loves to eat yummy food, run around, and dance tons!

All grown up...

Do you ever just look at your kids and think how grown up they are?? I've been doing this tons lately. It's so nice that Reagan is more self-sufficient, but on the other hand, where's my baby??! She's to the point that she gets drinks out of the fridge (this has been happening for awhile though and scares me to death when she carries a jug of Crystal Light up the stairs with a cup and tells me she's thirsty!), and can work the microwave like a pro, and getting in and out of the car without falling on her face, and getting dressed, and starting the bath and getting in, and so on. Maybe some kids have been doing this forever, but we're always too scared or too impatient or Reagan is too lazy to do them, but now she wants to be a big girl on her own 24/7. Sad, but wonderful!

Yea for Fall!

I love Fall!! I'm so glad it is finally here, but it really makes me miss having a ton of trees around. So far, the weather has been great here and that makes it so nice. We went to a little pumpkin patch about a week ago and picked out pumpkins and Reag rode on some rides. It's not the same as Utah, but when it's all you got, you take it! She didn't want to wait a week to carve, so she immediatly started coloring when we got home.

From the Mouth of Babes...

So, I just set up Reagan watching Mickey Mouse, got her a snack and a drink and said I have to get in the shower. She asked why? (When doesn't this happen?) I said because I'm stinky (which, by the way, I'm not!). She said: Oh, did you poo? I said No. Did you pee? Again, No. I say my hair's yucky and my face is yucky, so I need to shower. She preceeds to pull and feel my hair for a few seconds and thoughtfully says, Yep, it is! True love that someone could be so honest and I still just laugh and kiss her! Isn't it great being a mom?!

Crazy, Fun Weekend!

So, we had the funnest, craziest weekend. It seems that most of them have been like that lately, so it was nice to have a break over Conference weekend. Friday wasn't too busy, but Nick was gone hunting, so it's always crazy when I'm a single parent. On Friday, Nick was hunting and didn't see one deer, so at the end of the day, he was kinda disappointed. Then Saturday he called me before noon and said, Guess what! He was so excited. He hasn't drawn a deer tag in 3 years, so it was great! He got the HUGEST Buck!! Really! He's so humble about it, but I'll tell ya. It's a 7x8, 33 inches wide and is scoring at 235! That's great!!! I pretty nice one scores at 180-190, so Nick's tore it up!! Anyways, I've posted a picture. We are going to mount it when it's done and I couldn't be more proud!! Christmas has come early for Nick! :) While he was coming home, me and Reagan were at our friends boy's 3rd birthday party. It was way fun to visit and eat and play. After he got back into town and cleaned it and him up, he hauled back home to Vegas and we went to the Supercross U.S. Open. It was so fun and we had front row seats!! Thanks Dave for the hook-up! After that, we went and rode go-carts (35-45 mph!) with all Nick's brothers and had a blast. We got home way late and were thankful we got to sleep an extra hour since it was Stake Conference. Then we went and hung out with our cousins. Great weekend and way fun!!

So, the day has finally come.....

We found out what we are having today!!!!!! It's so exciting! I can't wait to start shopping and working on the room. The entire time, I felt that we were having a boy. I have still felt pretty good this pregnancy but different than Reag, but much more nauseous (still no throw-ups thank goodness), much more tired, and MUCH more irritable, especially to a certain 3-year old. Reagan also thought boy this whole time, and I thought, hey maybe she knows something! :) Then the last few weeks, she has only wanted a girl, so much that I even started to doubt. But in the end, she was wrong and we are having a BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!!!!!!!!! They put the "It's A Boy" on the screen and I just screamed (quietly) and Nick just beamed like crazy!!! We told Reag and she literally started crying and saying she wanted a girl. Seriously!! Oh well though, she'll get over it and we finally get our Hunter Nicholas. We have wanted to use that name for 5 years!!! Really! And thankfully, it hasn't gotten used yet, which is a huge fete in Nick's family. We have definately gotten left in the dust compared to cousins. Anyways, we are so excited and can't wait. Which, P.S. is the understatement of the century!

I LOVE Preschool

And thankfully, Reagan does too! She started a few weeks ago and loves it. The other day she wasn't feeling good and I told her that she couldn't go if she was sick, and she immediately felt better! Funny that way! Some of the kids from our old ward are in it, so she feels really comfortable and the teacher is great. She comes home every day with crafts and pictures and lots of stories to tell me. And I love having 5 hours a week to get things done!! I just can't believe that she's already in school! Time goes by way too fast!

Labor Day Weekend

We had such a blast this Labor Day Weekend. We went up to Logan, Ut and Preston, Id and played with a ton of Nick's family. It's all of our cousins that we LOVE and the area is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I always say I'd move up there any day of the week! Anyways, we had so much. We always stop by the Pepperidge Farm Factory and get fishies for Reagan and cookies for us. We also got to snack on yummy penny-candies all weekend! What more can you ask for??! We played games rode horses, ate yummy dutch-oven, slept in, rode 4-wheelers, Nick hunted, and we got to see a brand new baby cousin that was only 2 days old. It was such a great weekend! We love going up there and this time was no different! Thanks everyone!!!! We love you!!

Summer Fun

I know I've been such a slacker lately, but we've been crazy busy. Didn't you think you'd have all the time in the world after you became a stay-at-home mom?? I did!! That has been a rude awakening, one that I'm still trying to get used to. Anyways! We've had fun the last few weeks. There's a picture here of Reagan and her friend Tayton at the pool. That's the rec center pool that saved us all summer. Thankfully it wasn't too far from home or too expensive and it's super kid-friendly. We love it!! I also got to have a playdate with my good friend Colette and get to see her sweet new baby! Both of her kids are so adorable. It was too fun to catch up and have our kids entertained at the same time. Thanks Colette and for the yummy food!!
