Projects

Ok, so you know that I love doing projects and I love finding great deals and re-doing furniture, etc.  Here's some of the latest.

I made this wreath using a base that I got at DI for $1 and the yarn and felt from Walmart and ribbon I already had.

This is a cork board that I wanted for my office, but I wanted to spruce it up a bit so we took out the staples and added fabric then re-stapled. Love this fabric.  Actually has some shine to it, but you can't really see it here.

So this was the table I refinished awhile ago.  I did plan on selling it--listed it super high and might have decided to just keep it! Remember we ran up to Cedar to get this one and it was only $40, but really that's the highest I've ever paid, but I saw the potential and love it in aqua blue. Bytheway, half of the things on this table are DI or garage sales.  Like the wreath hanger I got at a yard sale for $1! And it had a wreath on it....not a great one, but hey! The yellow rock trough on the bottom was black at a yard sale for $2 with all the rocks! The black lantern has a switch that makes the candle glow and it was $2 at a yard sale.  One of the apothocary jars was $2 at a yard sale and another jar was $1 at DI.  It makes me not feel so bad when I get the white jar for $16.  (the fabric inside matches the colors all so perfect and I already had it!!!!)

I got this blue frame for $2 at a yard sale.  Spray it and glaze it with stuff I already had, add in the fabric I had and done! They yellow frames I got from DI for $1 and used fabric I had.

Seriously, I ran into DI for the yellow frames ONLY--even left Nick and kids in the car because I was gonna be "quick".  I did a way too quick pass through and stumbled on this amazing shelf!!!! It's huge and so heavy and has great wood design slats (looks like beadboard but thicker) that you can't see in the picture.  I got it for $12! Kinda high for DI, but really these huge monsters can be $100 at the store! I sprayed it with black I already had and used decor I had too--just shuffled some things around.  Easy and so fun! PS. I'm kinda addicted to DI!
