Eastern Caribbean

So what do you do when you get a text from a friend saying....do you have a passport and do you think you could take off work for a week?? Well heck yeah I can!! I was a little nervous though because my spring break was the week I got back...which meant I worked like 7 days in March with Easter break too....it was AWESOME! :) So since Chrissy had a great post on this...I decided I would just steal most of hers....good job Chrissy!

Our suite was really nice.  This was my first ever cruise and I was impressed that all these things could be nice and on a ship in the middle of the ocean.  Pretty cool!

This was our first full day.  It was really pretty, but the weather wasn't so great.  It's my perfect kind of weather normally, but hard to relax and read on the beach when you're freezing!! Still way fun to be on this little private island!

This was our first day at sea and whoa, it worked me! I took some dramamine, but it just pooped me out---so after a lovely nap, we got dressed for formal night.  Some girls were in real formals--like prom.  Not me, Sunday best...if it's good enough for the Lord, it's good enough for cruisin! :) Chrissy looks hot huh?! Speaking of....everything was as if we were a couple since it was a last minute name change.  It was pretty fun to laugh about!

St. Thomas was way fun! The weather wasn't great, but we were able to do some shopping and then we got on a cab open bus and went to Magens Bay.  There were some crazy people on the bus with us that made our trip laughable.  We chilled on the beach for a while and read and just started to pack up when it started coming down hard!! We found the first cab we could...a way crappy van! I'm not sure how I ended up in the front seat, but my view was SCARY! There were a few wet, muddy hills that we seriously could not get up.  The guy was swearing at the other cars...it was nuts! Eventually, we made it back to the ship!!! 

Puerto Rico was really pretty.  The weather was great and we did some fun sight-seeing. There were some really beautiful buildings and we got some shopping in.  Eventually we got hungry so where do we stop...naturally Pizza Hut of course!! :) 

Grand Turk was beautiful!! Wow!! The weather was great and the beach was white and soft.  We walked around and found these huge conch shells.  There were soooo many....pretty sure I paid a fortune bringing them home!

We seriously had so much fun! It was a lot to figure out ahead of time with work and school and kids, etc...but I'm so glad I was able to have a break and be with my bestie for a week relaxing!!! She did the following and it's perfect...so I'm stealing it too....... :)

Sarah from Canada. towel animals. sunsets. deck 7. sleeping. pirates. Lido deck. sleeping in. no zip-lining. sick. sad good-byes.

The food was outrageaous and CONSTANT! And after we ate a million things each day which included several desserts each night, we'd have a hot chocolate with ice cream and pizza each night.  It was SO FUN! I haven't been able to sleep, eat and read that much in soooo long! Thank you Chrissy for letting me take the place of Chris for a week....don't act like you don't want it!!! :)
