December Traditions

Our December was seriously nutso.  I felt like I was just treading water, trying to keep my head above water.  I love December and the fun festivities, but there's always so many things that I want to do as a family to enjoy the season, but it's so hard with everything that has to get done!!! We had three work parties and a ward party alone! It's always fun stuff, but it's still stressful making it all work.  Here's some things we did over the month: decorating the house and tree; secret "elf-ing" our neighbors and friends; driving around checking out Christmas lights; three work parties; 2 school parties; 1 school program; 1 ward party; baking lots of treats for work, neighbors, friends and family; decorating a gingerbread house; playing in the snow; shopping and wrapping lots; reading fun Christmas stories; and watching lots of Christmas movies!!  Here's a look at some of the fun things we like to do during the Christmas season......

Just some of the treats we got from neighbors, work, friends.  Isn't that nuts?! There were more before and after this pic too and some that never made it to the counter! :)

"Elfing" our neighbors

Baking treats....we baked SO many treats this month.  Each time people came to visit or we went somewhere I baked, and neighbor treats, and work treats for me and for Nick, and Elf-ing, and parties, and for Santa, and for friends, and for us and more!!!!
