I keep forgetting in my other comments to mention your cute blog layout... also, are you growing your hair out? It's longer than I have seen it in awhile...

"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived.”
― Sister Marjorie Pay Hinckley
"Come what may and LOVE it!"
--Joseph B. Wirthlin
"Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed. The fact is that most putts don't drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just ordinary people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is just like an old time rail journey...delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders and jolts interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."
--President Gordon B. Hinckley
"I know it is hard for you young mothers to believe that almost before you can turn around the children will be gone and you will be alone with your husband. You had better be sure you are developing the kind of love and friendship that will be delightful and enduring. Let the children learn from your attitude that he is important. Encourage him. Be kind. It is a rough world, and he, like everyone else, is fighting to survive. Be cheerful. Don't be a whiner." --Sister Marjorie Pay Hinckley
I am a happy wife and mother. Nick and I were high school sweethearts. We've been married 11 years now and we still flirt, kiss, laugh and tease every day and he still gives me butterflies. We have two beautiful kids who are complete opposites. We've worked hard for our kids and love them both more than we could ever describe. We know that the Lord is our Savior and has a divine plan for us. We know he is watching over us and we feel blessed every day--even with all the craziness life brings!!
